China Yearbook of Household Survey—2011 is the first statistical publication whichinvolves both the data of Urban Household Survey and the data of Rural HouseholdSurvey in China.It provides the detail statistics of living condition of rural and urbanhouseholds for whole China as well as by province,income level and economic region.Data were collected and aggregated respectively according to the schemes of UrbanHousehold Survey and Rural Household Survey.The definitions of indicators for ruralhouseholds or for urban households are consistent respectively with those in yearbooksof Rural Household Survey or in yearbooks of Urban Household Survey publishedin earlier years.The book includes the following five parts:(1) Introduction to Household Surveys ofChina;(2) National Statistics;(3) Basic Statistics by Groups for Selected Years;(4)Income and Expenditure by Province for Selected Years;(5)Detail Statistics by Province,2010.The data in this book derives mainly from household survey conducted by Departmentof Household Surveys,National Bureau of Statistics(NBS).The information of HongKong Special Administrative Region,Macao Special Administrative Region and TaiwanProvince is not included.Statistical discrepancies due to rounding are not adjusted in this yearbook.The notes concerning the whole table are placed at the beginning of the table,while thenotes concerning individual indicators are placed at the end.Notations used in this yearbook:“...”data are not available;“#”major items;“*”see footnotes below.
