一、《北京社会科学年鉴》是一部全面系统记述首都北京哲学社会科学事业发展状况和学术动态的年度资料性文献学术工具书,由北京市社会科学界联合会(简称北京市社科联)主持编纂。
二、本年鉴高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,以马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导,坚持为人民服务、为社会主义服务的方向,坚持百花齐放、百家争鸣的方针,坚持吸取借鉴国内外优秀文化成果,解放思想、实事求是、与时俱进、开拓创新,客观翔实和较全面记述北京地区社会科学领域的基本情况,力求年鉴编纂的科学性、客观性、全面性。
三、本年鉴从2000年创刊起,每年出版一卷。当年的编纂出版记述上一年度首都北京哲学社会科学事业各方面的发展状况,收录的资料来自在京的党政机关、社会科学教学、研究和科研管理等机构。
四、本年鉴宗旨:体现北京市社科联秉持“学者为本、学术为根、学会为基、繁荣学术、服务首都”的宗旨。努力为党和政府科学决策提供社会科学方面的参考,为社会科学工作者从事学术研究及教学提供资料和借鉴,为国内外了解首都北京社会科学领域的现状提供新的有价值的信息,努力促进首都北京哲学社会科学的繁荣发展。
五、本年鉴采用分类编辑法,包括文章和条目,行文力求规范、准确、简练、流畅。全书除文字表述外,配以彩色照片、表格,力求具体、形象、生动地反映首都北京社会科学的发展面貌。
六、本卷年鉴栏目设置为特载、学科综述、科研课题、获奖成果、学术活动、机构、大事记、附录、索引。
七、为更好发挥本年鉴的作用、增进使用便利,在编纂出版纸质版的同时编纂出版电子版(CD-ROM)。

1.Beijing Social Sciences Yearbook is an annual academic reference book of data and documents which,in an all-round and systematic way,records the development of the undertakings of philosophy and social sciences,as well as the concerning academic events in Beijing,the capital of the People's Republic of China.It is compiled under the charge of the Beijing Federation of the Social Sciences Circles.
2.In compiling this yearbook,we have raised high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics,followed the guidance of Marxism-Leninism,Mao Zedong Thought,Deng Xiaoping Theory,the important thought of "Three Represents",the Scientific Outlook on Development,and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era,and adhered to the orientations of serving the people and serving the socialist cause,to the implementation of the policy of "letting a hundred flowers blossom and a hundred schools of thought contend",to the absorption and reference of the excellent cultural achievements both at home and abroad,and to the principles of emancipating the minds,seeking truth from facts,advancing with the times,and blazing new trails in a pioneering spirit.We have tried to record the fundamental situations of the domains of social sciences in Beijing in an objective,accurate and comparatively comprehensive way.We have also done our utmost to be as scientific-minded,objective and comprehensive as possible in compiling this yearbook.
3.This yearbook has been compiled and published once a year since its first issue in 2000.Each volume of this yearbook records the development of the undertakings of philosophy and social sciences in the previous year in Beijing.The data and materials contained in this yearbook have been collected from the Party and Government departments in Beijing,and from the institutions which are engaged in the teaching,research and scientific research management of social sciences in Beijing.
4.This yearbook is intended to embody the mission of "taking the scholars,their academics and their associations as the foundation,to make academics prosperous and do a good service to Beijing",which is undertaken by the Beijing Federation of the Social Sciences Circles.In this yearbook,we strive to provide the Party and Government departments with references in relation to social sciences needed in their policy-making,supply the professionals of social sciences with materials and references needed for their academic research and teaching,provide new valuable information to help people both at home and abroad to learn about the current situation in the domains of social sciences in Beijing,and promote the development and prosperity of philosophy and social sciences in Beijing.
5.This yearbook is compiled by the classification method,including articles and subject entries,and trying to make the wording normative,accurate,concise and smooth.This yearbook not only presents itself in written language,but also contains color photos and diagrams,in an attempt to reflect the development of social sciences in Beijing in a concrete,vivid and lively way.
6.The standing columns in the current volume of this yearbook are Special Reprints,Survey of Various Subjects,Lists of Research Topics,Award-Winning Academic Achievements,Academic Activities,Institutions,Chronicle,Appendix and Index.
7.While Beijing Social Sciences Yearbook is compiled and published in paper edition,it is available in CD-ROM format simultaneously,so as to bring it into full play and make it more convenient to use.
