China Yearbook of Household Survey-2013 is the statistical publication which in-volves both the data of Urban Household Survey and the data of Rural HouseholdSurvey in China. It provides the detail statistics of living condition of urban and rural households for whole China as well as by province, income quintile and economic region. Data were collected and aggregated respectively according to the schemes of Urban Household Survey and Rural Household Survey.The book includes the following five parts: (1) Introduction to Urban and Rural Household Surveys of China; (2) National Statistics; (3) Basic Statistics by Groups for Selected Years; (4) Income and Expenditure Statistics by Province for Selected Years; (5) Detail Statistics by Province, 2012.The data in this book derives mainly from household survey conducted by Department of Household Surveys, National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). The information of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province is not included. The definitions of indicators for urban households or for rural households are consistent respectively with those in yearbooks of Urban Household Survey or in yearbooks of Rural Household Survey published in earlier years.Statistical discrepancies due to rounding are not adjusted in this yearbook.The notes concerning the whole table are placed at the beginning of the table, while the notes concerning individual indicators are placed at the end.Notations used in this yearbook:data are not available;“#”major items;“*”see footnotes below”
